Staybridge Suites Rochester University by IHG

For me, the location of the Staybridge Suites Rochester University was ideal. Its position opposite the University of Rochester campus meant I had a pleasant 10 minute walk across the bridge to campus every morning. The river path that runs directly past the hotel was also perfect for my morning runs. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the breakfast was plentiful, delicious with fresh fruit as well as cooked breakfast favourites every morning. My room was clean and quiet. Free wifi worked well, and to top it all off, I was offered a free shuttle ride to the airport on the morning of my departure. Hooray!

My family and I stayed two nights and the rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable. We liked that there was a full size refrigerator, microwave, separate sitting area and separate bedroom. The bedroom had its own TV and the sitting area also had its own TV. The breakfast offered was good, had several different options. We had scramble eggs, bacon, waffles, seasoned potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt and other choices. The chef could've been friendlier and more courteous.

Everything was clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the most exciting, but everything tasted good and it was alright for the weekend. Quality (Dove) pump bottle toiletries in the bathroom were a plus.

Cleanliness, great customer service as well as friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, rooms came with dish soap, dish washing pods, eating utensils and etc.

Quiet and peaceful place to spend a vacation with family. Strongly recommendable for future stay.
